Think welcomes Nic Conroy to the team! Nic is our new Business Development Manager. Here are a few facts about Nic.
What is your background in technology?
I have a Bachelors in Computer Science from Western State University of Colorado, and a Masters in Computer and Information Security from Western Governors. I built a technology company from inception to acquisition in the Gunnison and Crested Butte area, and then spent 3 years staffing network engineers for large projects nationally and internationally. One of my biggest accomplishments was staffing the largest IT project for the Department of Veterans Affairs to date. Despite my technical background, I enjoy a customer facing role, so coming on board at Think as the Business Development Manager has been a great fit!
What is your new role at Think?
Currently at Think I am the Business Development Manager. I engage new and existing customers, work with our solutions architects and engineers in order to improve customers’ processes and business by leveraging and utilizing technology. I work on bidding/attaining large projects for Municipalities, School Districts, and other public entities throughout the entire four corners, while fostering relationships in many other verticals to include manufacturing, healthcare, and Oil & Gas.
What is your favorite material thing that you own, and why?
I have a book my wife and kids made for me for my birthday. That is definitely my favorite possession!
If you could be an animal, what would it be?
A labrador retriever. Their energy is endless and they find simple joy in just playing fetch, swimming, and laying in the sun.
Where did you grow up?
I like to say I grew up in the Marine Corps, though more traditionally, I was raised in Monument, just north of Colorado Springs.
What would you choose as a slogan for your life?
Collect moments, not things.
Thanks for your time, Nic!
